Luella Fabian

Our beloved Aunt, Luella Fabian, passed away at the age of 88 on May 26, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. Born November 23, 1928 in Raymondville, Texas to Frank and Albina Fabian, she made her own way to San Antonio and worked for many years at the Veterans Administration.

Her faith, family and lifelong friends were important to her and she was very proud of her Czech heritage. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and proudly served on the Altar Society for many years. She enjoyed traveling, nature, and playing games with her friends. Her no nonsense spirit and humor made her truly unique and special; she will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her brothers and their wives, Clifford & Helen Fabian, Harold & Bonnie Fabian; a niece, Vicki Stroud and a nephew, Gregory Fabian.

Luella is survived by her 2 nephews & 1 niece, Dr. Roderic Fabian and wife Elisa, Mike Fabian and wife Dottie & Sandra Byrd; as well as great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Memorial Mass will be Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 8134 Blanco Road.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Spirit Altar Society at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
