Lucille Beyer Harwell

Lucille Harwell, 83, passed away on July 24, 2014 in San Antonio. Born on November 15, 1930, she is the daughter of Rudolph Ernest Beyer and Augusta Mary (Mager) Beyer. She grew up in Williamson County, Texas. She graduated in 1947 from Hutto High School. She married L. B. Harwell, Jr. on November 3, 1951. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, daughter-in-law Joyce Harwell, and grandson Adam Harwell. Lucille is survived by three children – Dennis Harwell (Kim), of San Antonio; Kevin Harwell of State College, Pennsylvania; and Carolyn Harwell Turk (Buckey) of Bryan, Texas. Eight grandchildren – Sarah Harwell Kackstetter (Adam) of Juneau, Alaska; Adell Harwell Grim (Evan) of Austin; Kristine Jones Shafer (Drew) of Austin; Brian Jones of San Antonio; Ethan Harwell of State College, Pennsylvania; Amanda Turk Clair (P.J.) of Dallas; Clara Turk and Elizabeth Turk of Bryan; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, an aunt, many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday July 28, 2014 at Sunset North Funeral Home form 6-8 pm. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday July 29, 2014 at University UMC at 1 pm. A Private interment will be held on Tuesday July 29, 2014.
