Lorraine "Lori/Lolo" Gonzales Postel; A beautiful wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt whose smile could light up the darkest skies passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 37. She was born to Michael and Betty Gonzales in San Antonio, TX on September 20, 1985. Family was her passion and her love and vibrancy of life was infectious to all those that had the privilege to grace her presence. Her memory will forever be cherished by so many and her legacy will continue in the hearts of her family and friends.
She was a cheer coach for 9 years and team mom for 12 years for her kids basketball, football, baseball and softball. She enjoyed arts and crafts including baking decorative cakes for all occasions and decorating venues. She loved to fish, sing, and attend family functions. Lorraine fell in love with trying new wines and restaurants on date nights with her husband. Lorraine was an amazing kind caring person. Lorraine's personality, smile, laugh and humor was so vivacious that it would captivate everyone around her. She was so full of life. She adored babies and children and loved to volunteer at the schools for her kids' events. Lorraine was working on becoming a teacher's aide in order to be closer to her children and focus on helping other kids. She was like Snow White as animals would flock to her without fear as she called to them by saying "here kitty kitty" whether it was a cat, deer, rabbits, birds, etc...She was a blessing to us all.
Lorraine leaves behind her most prized gift, her loving family; by her husband and best friend of 20 years Emilio Jay Postel IV; their 7 beautiful children Emilio Rain Postel V (19), Jasmine Postel (17), Lily Postel (14), Erika Postel (13), Julian Postel (11), Antonio Postel (9) and Aaliyah Postel (7); Her parents Michael and Betty Gonzales; Her sisters Elaine Gonzales, Elida Cano, Evangelina "Roni" Ortega; Her brother Jimmy Gonzales and his wife Laura Gonzales; Her mother and father in law Emilio and Jo Postel; Her brother and sister-in-law’s Ricky and Tracy Campa, Andrew and Brittany Resendiz and Jessica Postel.
