Lloyd E. Berry Jr. MD

Lloyd E. Berry, Jr., MD entered in to heaven on February 13, 2015 at the age of 91, surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Dallas, TX on December 1, 1923 to Lloyd E. and Thelma Berry. He served in the US Army during WWII as a medic and was a decorated veteran. He attended medical school at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. He was a Family Practice Physician in San Antonio, TX for over 54 years. His compassion and kindness touched the lives of thousands.

On December 26, 1955 he married Nancy Sue Harbison, and was preceded in death by her; brother Robert Berry and a grandson Brian Kennedy .

Surviving are his daughters, Susan Diane Gonzalez, Patricia Gorman (Andy), Priscilla Walton (Joe); son, Danny Berry (Sheryl); 9 grandchildren, Laurann Wisnand (Wayne), Courtney Beltz (J.J.), Allison Bradbury (Jon), Andrea Gorman, Casey Lowe (Michael), Haley Gorman, Betsey Aquirre, Braden and Sydney Berry; and 6 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2015 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. A family private burial will follow at a later date at Sunset Memorial Park.
