Jean Elizabeth (Lisa) Brashear, age 58, passed away on August 9, 2011. She was born September 5, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Oklahoma City at a young age, where she completed High School cum laude. She attended Mount Vernon Junior College in Washington D.C. and graduated from Oklahoma University in 1975 with honors. She then attended school at the University of Grenoble in France. In 1982 she married the love of her life, Herb Brashear, and worked as a travel agent in Oklahoma City. In 1989 she and her husband moved to San Antonio, where she worked in the travel industry,advertising and sales.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Evalyn Lou King. She is survived by her Father, Robert W. King of Oklahoma City, her husband, Herb Brashear and his children, Donna Radke and husband Dan Radke of Oklahoma City, and Chris Brashear of Austin. She is also survived by her sister, Sheryl K. Jacobs and husband Robert W. Jacobs of Lawrence, Kansas, her brother Robert W. King, M.D. and wife Jeanneann King, M.D., and her sister, Rebecca Schneider, and husband Kevin Gilliland, all of Oklahoma City.
Services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas on August 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society on behalf of Jean (Lisa).
