Lionel “Leo” LaRose loving husband, father, son, and brother entered into eternal rest on June 9, 2011 at the age of 53. Leo was born on December 23, 1957 to Arthur L.M. and Magdalena LaRose in Wiesbaden, Germany. He currently is employed as a civil engineer with the 802D Civil Engineer Squadron at Lackland A.F.B. In his free time he enjoyed to volunteer at the San Antonio Sports Association. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur L.M. LaRose, Sr. Leo is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Mary LaRose; daughter, Jennafer LaRose; son, Chris LaRose and fiancée Emily Jones; mother, Magdalena Crenshaw and husband Wayne; sisters, Maggie Jochen and Barbara Weatherly; brother, Arthur L.M. LaRose, Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 20, 2011 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
