Linda was a woman everyone noticed when she walked into a room, a beautiful person whose light shone brightly. She adored her family, cooking and baking for them and crafting and sewing perfect little gifts for her grandchildren. She was compassionate and generous, the kind of mom who passed on her best recipes and would excitedly call her daughters to tell them about newly found recipes she was going to try. She was the kind of wife who loved adventure and found happiness in camping, boating, hunting and fishing with her husband, Jessie. She wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty, whether she was filling the feeders at their JLR Ranch that they both loved so much, or planting flowers and herbs in her garden. Organized and attentive to details, Linda had a way of always keeping her family on track. She listened, advised and calmly offered her perspective. Her favorite color was blue, and she loved all things western, music, and dancing. But above all she loved her family most.
Linda valiantly fought her illness for almost three years. She found peace in the arms of our Lord and Savior on Friday, August 19, 2022. We are thankful that she is now at rest and wholly restored watching over her dearly loved family from heaven.
Linda:
God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be
So he wrapped his arms around you and whispered, “come to me.“
You didn’t deserve what you went through, so he gave you rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful: he only takes the best.
And when I saw you sleeping so peaceful and free from pain,
I could not wish you back, to suffer that again.
Always and forever, Jess
