Linda Joyce Emerson, born August 25, 1945, passed away on June 25, 2017 at the age of 71. Linda is preceded in death by her father, Levis Thurmond and father in law, Elmer W. Emerson and is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Billy Ray Emerson; sons, Keith Wayne Emerson and wife Teresa and Todd Thurmond Emerson and wife Amy; mother, L’Ella Dean Thurmond; mother in law, Fay Emerson; sister in law, Carolyn Turcotte; brother in law, Michael Emerson; grandchildren, Austin, Owen, Ashton, Everett, Bryan, Shawn, and Paulina. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Chapel from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Funeral services will also be at Sunset Funeral Chapel on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 10:00 am, with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
