Linda Pickens Clark

Born in Uvalde, TX on September 17, 1947, Linda was a 1965 graduate of Uvalde High School. After graduating from Southwest Texas Junior College, Linda studied music at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. Linda loved playing piano and spending time with her family and friends.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, father Paul H. Pickens and mother Feliz (Vasquez) Pickens of Uvalde, TX; her brother, Ralph Pickens of Uvalde, TX; her sister, Katherine Pickens; her grandson, Ian Clark; and numerous aunts, uncles and extended family members. She is survived by her son Gene Clark and wife Jody of San Antonio, TX; her sister LaVerne Timberlake and husband Albert of Austin, TX; her sister Barbara Faglie and husband Larry of Knippa, TX; her sister Dorothy Parsons and husband Bob of Victoria, TX; her sister Geneva Boyd and husband James of New Braunfels, TX; her brother Charles Pickens of Uvalde, TX; and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at noon on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Sunset North Funeral Home (910 N. Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX 78232). Her family welcomes all who knew and loved Linda to join them for her life’s celebration and a small reception following the service.
