Linda Jean Bast , 7 6 , of San Antonio went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Linda was born in Post, Texas on October 10, 1940. She married the love of her life, Joel Bast, on December 31, 1956. She was a kind and loving mother and grandmother whose sweet and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Oma was preceded in death by her husband, Joel H. Bast, her daughter, Debbie Bast, her parents Garrett & Joyce Tenni son and her brother, Ronnie Tennison.
She is survived by her three children, Tina Drain and husband Bill of San Antonio, Joy Bast of San Antonio and Alan Joel Bast and wife Callie of Pleasanton , TX; five grandchildren, Justin, Jared, Amanda , Jonathan and Samantha; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at noon, Thursday, March 2 at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX with the Reverend Wade Brand of First Baptist Church Jourdanton, officiating .
Memorial donations may be made to Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.
