Linda I. Armstrong

Linda I. Armstrong , 72 years old, passed away on April 3, 2016, at her home in San Antonio. She was born on December 9, 1943 to Neil and Mickey Comer. Linda grew up in Somerset, Texas, graduating from Somerset High School in 1962. She married Francis Armstrong in 1967 and together raised two daughters. Linda worked for Northside ISD and retired after many years of service. She was a fierce supporter of her four beloved grandchildren and an avid dog lover. Linda loved home repair projects and spent most of her days at Lowes. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Linda is survived by her daughters, LaNeil (Richard) and Danessa ( Mike); grandchildren, Richie, Brandi, Lindsey, and Mikey and a sister, Carolyn Miller. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera road on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A graveside service will be conducted at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Susan G. Komen or the Humane Society.
