Leota V. Morehouse

After high school, Leota first became a Certified Cosmetologist, and then married her husband Elwood K. Morehouse. Together they raised three daughters as she remained a devoted military spouse and homemaker. Mrs. Morehouse enjoyed membership in local hunting and fishing clubs and stayed committed to being active in the community, schools, and her church.

Leota is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Elwood K. Morehouse. She is survived by her daughters Sarita Brink, Janice Gonzalez, and Kim Sheffield; her sons-in-law Ed Brink, Art Gonzalez, and Jim Sheffield; her granddaughter Leslie Madden; her grandsons Dan and David Sheffield; and her great-grandchildren Lily Sheffield, Rose Harle, Lexi Sheffield, Lacey Sheffield, Leia Sheffield, Joshua Madden and Grace Madden.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Northwood Presbyterian Church at 518 Pike Road, San Antonio, TX 78209.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 9 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northwood Presbyterian Church.
