Lenora N. Jordan, age 70, passed away August 18, 2018 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on November 18, 1947 Trenton, New Jersey to Leroy and Leola Jordan. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was a dedicated teacher for 32 years with the San Antonio Independent School District. In addition to her love of teaching, she enjoyed creating works of art. In Lenora's life she created several works of art of pottery, book making, and Calligraphy. Lenora was a well-established member of the San Antonio Calligraphy Guild for many years and will be dearly missed by many.
Lenora was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Loretta Jordan and Lisa Adams. She is survived by her brothers; Leroy (Barbara) Jordan, Larry Jordan, Leonard Jordan and numerous nieces and nephews to include grand nieces and nephews.
A Celebration to honor Ms. Jordan’s life will be held Friday, August 24, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel from 4-6pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed to any Women and Children Shelters.
