Lord on July 25, 2023 at the age of 47.
Lee was born on October 27, 1975 to John and Maria Elena Maher in Lansing Michigan. He
graduated from Southside High School in 1994.
Lee is preceded in death by his loving mother Maria Elena Maher. He is survived by his sons
Gaven Lee Maher, Garet Lee Maher and his daughter Lauren Lee Maher (Lores). Also survived
by his father John N. Maher and sisters Maria Lopez, Monica Guillen and Myra Balderas. His
brothers Leonard J. Maher and Lawrence J. Maher. Numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles,
cousins and friends. Lee was loved by so many and unconditionally loved his children and family. He was so proud of his children and their accomplishments. He was full of jokes and funny sayings. He worked hard to provide for the ones he loved. He was able to find the joy in the little things. Happiness is the only thing he wanted for those around him. He was what you would refer to as the “fun uncle”. The tears, laughs, words many shared with Lee will forever be a part of so many lives and memories.
Little did we know the day that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories.
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.
Visitation for Lee will be Thursday August 3, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home 2525 Palo Alto Rd. San Antonio TX 78211 with a prayer service at 7:00PM. Services will conclude at the Funeral Home.
