Lawrence A. Villarreal

Lawrence A. Villarreal, age 65, passed away December 21, 2017. He was born in San Antonio, Texas to Ben and Josephine Villarreal on September 10, 1952. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mary Lou Gonzalez. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Susie Kim Villarreal; sons, Nathan and Michael Villarreal; brothers, Andrew (Sylvia) Villarreal, Edward (Theresa) Villarreal, Robert (Iris) Villarreal, David (Kathy) Villarreal; numerous nieces and nephews. SMSGT Lawrence retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of dedicated service .Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm. The funeral procession will depart Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 12:30PM for a 1:00pm funeral mass at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. The family would like to thank SAMC, Ameda Hospice and their church for their support.
