Laverne C. Gearman-Martines, 85, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 26, 2017. Laverne was born on August 27, 1931 to Bert and Magdalene Pope in San Antonio Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband: Robert E. Martinez Jr. She is survived by her son: Mark Gearman and wife Debra; grandchildren: Alex Gearman and Taylor Gearman. Services will be held at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
