Latrell Bradley Gaither

At Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota, Latrell Bradley Gaither was born on October 20, 1996, the middle child and only son of Rodney Terrell and Latonya Leanne Lawrence Gaither. Latrell entered into eternal rest on March 17, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas.

Attending military-based elementary and middle schools, Latrell excelled at six different schools and was selected for attendance at a magnet school. In June 2015, he was a senior at Business Careers Magnet High School, San Antonio, Texas, graduating with summa cum laude honors and being ranked number 4 out of 532 seniors.

A LIFE WELL-LIVED

As a military dependent, Latrell’s travels included living in four different countries and six distinct locations across the globe to include Germany, Japan and Turkey. Latrell attended the University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 2019 with a BS Degree in Computer Science. Shortly afterwards, he obtained an Early Career internship which transitioned into a career path with Nike, Inc. Latrell’s employment with Nike found him living in Portland, Oregon and then working remotely back in Texas as a full stack developer with a specialization in computer networking and security. He was very passionate about networking and security operations and mission success across multiple platforms. Latrell’s unique experiences and knowledge combined with his diverse talents and endearing personality resulted in an outstanding young man who enjoyed life and loved spending time with his family and friends.

A LIFE LEGACY

Left with precious memories of Latrell are his parents, USAF Ret. Command Chief Master Sergeant Rodney T. and Latonya L. Gaither; 2 sisters, Jaenero Gaither and Eliza Gaither both of San Antonio, TX; a niece, Sanaya; grandparents Nero and Dorothy Lawrence of Hammond, IN, and Beatrice E. and the late Charles C. Gaither of Rock Hill, SC; aunt, Barvette Gaither of Rock Hill, SC; 3 uncles, USAF Ret. Lieutenant Colonel Talmadge (Kim) Gaither of Dayton, OH, Nero Lawrence of Hammond, IN, and the late Roy (Vernell) Gaither of Ridgeway, SC; first cousins Darius, Talmadge “TJ”, Lauren, and Mekhi Gaither, and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and friends.
