Larry H. Martin

Larry Harvey Martin, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother entered rest on September 30, 2011 at the age of 76. Larry was born to Harvey and Ethleen Martin on June 9, 1935 in Griffin, Georgia. Mr. Martin honorably served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years; serving during the Vietnam War. He retired from civil service with Kelly AFB. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Susie F. Martin; sons: Jerome A. Martin, Eric L. Martin, and Russell C. Martin; grandson, Kristoffer Martin; sister, Pat Moore and husband William; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2011 for a 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
