

Kyle N. Anderson, Ret. SMSgt, USAF was born on February 14, 1922 in Gate City, Virginia entered into rest on November 28, 2010 in San Antonio, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife, Glynda Brown Anderson in 2005; and his son, Kyle N. Anderson Jr.
Survivors include his brother-in-law, Ward Brown; niece, Sarah Lagan; nephew, Ward Martin Brown; and numerous cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Windcrest United Methodist Church, 8101 Midcrown, SATX 78239 with visitation one hour prior to service. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, December 6, 2010 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

Received 3 Air Force Distinguished Flying Crosses.
Asiatic Theater: Japan, Okinawa, Guam, Taiwan, Thailand and Phillippines.
Zone of the Interior Duty Stations: Florida (3 times), Idaho, California (2 times), Georgia (3 times), Texas (3 times), Virginia, New Mexico, North Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alaska & Alabama.
Aircraft: B-17, B-29, KB-29, KB-50, KB-50 Jet, KC-97, KC-135, with over 10,000 hours (form-5)

Married Glynda Bess Brown, San Antonio, TX. in 1957, who traveled (and worked in Military Schools) around the world with him.
Retired from the Air Force 1969.
Employed by Florida Dept of Education 16 years as a Guidance Counselor and School Psychologist.
Attended first 390th Bomb Grp Reunion in Orlando, FL in 1978 as a Charter Member.
