In 2007, Kendra graduated from Ramstein American High School in Ramstein, Germany, and continued on to Arizona Western University in Yuma, Arizona, where she received a basketball scholarship.
She joined the United States Army in 2011 as a Radiology Specialist serving dutifully in the First Joint Service Community Hospital attaining the rank of Sergeant. Sergeant Lenoir volunteered for the first female Pre Ranger Course Expert Field Medical Badge and the Army Air Assault Course. In 2013, Sergeant Lenoir was named the Troop Command – South Soldier of the year. She also represented the battalion at the Northern Regional Medical Command Best Warrior Competition with great skill and knowledge. Her desire to exceed the standard resulted in great respect as a mentor, leader and friend. Her kindness, compassion, and positive spirit were known throughout the organization.
In 2014, Kendra met Chantrelle and choose her as her life partner. Their union of love and the journey they traveled together enhanced the lives of one another. Throughout her life, Kendra drove her parents crazy, but she also made them proud. She lived life to the fullest and her infectious smile brought happiness to everyone she came in contact with. She had such an amazing impact on so many lives by shining so bright, that she often didn’t leave any for herself. Her sense of humor, beautiful free spirit and laugh will be cherished and stay with us forever.
Kendra will be remembered as a wife, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, cousin, friend and as an exceptional soldier.
