Kelli K. Smith

Kelli K. Smith was born in Dunklin, MO on June 20, 1941 to Marshall and Mary (Blades) Pate, and entered eternal life on December 20, 2013. She retired after 35 years as a Registered Nurse. Kelli was a devoted member of Madison Hills Baptist Church for many years. She loved her family deeply and enjoyed shopping with her daughter, Sherri and eating Chinese food with her grandson, AJ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tim Smith; and her sisters, Christine Hammer and Bea Roper. Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Ray Smith; children, Sherri Grome (Paul), Roger Pelts (Cindy), Trent Smith (Rhonda), Steve Smith (Andrea), Doug Smith; grandchildren, AJ Grome (Jacqueline), Michael, Shawn and Cassie Smith, Ryan Pelps, Danielle Conner; great-grandchildren, Addison Ramos, Aidan and Austin Grome; and her brothers, David and Billy Wayne Pate.

A celebration of Kelli’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Per her request, Kelli will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Madison Hills Baptist Church, 15413 O’Connor Rd. 78247.
