Keith Allan Wickwire

Keith Allan Wickwire, age 62, of Poteet, Texas passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023. After a strong and courageous battle with bladder cancer, and beating the odds 18 years prior from a motorcycle accident that caused brain injury.He was born in San Antonio, TX on November 5th, 1960 to Richard "Nick" Wickwire, and Nadine Andrus "Langston".

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Wickwire, Nadine, and Wade Langston. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Maxey-Wickwire; children, Jason Wickwire, Julia (Tyler), Fellows, Joseph (Stephanie) Wickwire, and Clayton Wickwire, brothers, Rick Wickwire, and Wade (Sherry) Langston, Jr.; grandchildren, Jayden, Jaycee, Aubrey, Brody, Wyatt, and Rylee. Keith is also survived by his ex-wife Linda Wickwire, and long-time friend Donna Higginbotham, as well as numerous other family and friends

Keith worked as a plumber, welder, and small time farmer for his loving cows and goats.He enjoyed customizing his Jimmy or taking apart motors and never putting them back together. Never owned a shirt that didn't have a front pocket with a pack of cigarettes or some small stain on it somewhere. In the company of loved ones he was known to light up the room with his crazy jokes, and random funny comments.

A visitation for Keith will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A committal service will occur Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218.
