Kathryn meets in Heaven her parents, Haydon and Yula Hall; sister, Helen; brother, Dale, and various nieces and nephews.
Kathryn will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Thomas Kidd; brother, Curtis; sisters, Ruth and Evelyn; children, Doug (Lily), Dan (Robin), and Valerie (Craig); grandchildren, Rebekah (Micah), Jacob, Heather, Kaitlin, and Justin (Gabby); great grandchildren, Alayna, Tyler, Mya, Colson, Hudson, Annabelle, Charlotte, Abigail, Isaiah, Alexis, Nico and Estrella; and several nieces and nephews.
Over the years Kathryn had different hobbies at different stages of her life. She loved sewing, painting, cross stitch and was good at any arts and crafts as she loved to work with her hands. Her outdoor activities included gardening and hiking and she and her husband also enjoyed cross country skiing in Colorado. She was adamant about taking care of herself through exercising on a regular basis and swimming.
Kathryn had strong faith and family always came first for her, always putting herself and her needs behind everyone else’s. She was a very understanding mother who never had a bad word to say about anyone and she supported her family in whatever they needed. She was always happy with what she had and viewed it all as a gift, never complaining about anything.
Kathryn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother with a heart that overflowed with compassion and understanding with a strong commitment to her husband and family. Her strongest traits that will be remembered are her kindness, humility, steadfastness, truthfulness and her ability for forgiveness.
Her favorite phrase is how she looked at life’s ups and downs LIFE IS JUST A BOWL OF CHERRIES. LIVE, LOVE, AND LAUGH AT IT ALL!
A visitation will take place at Sunset North Funeral Home Tuesday, March 29 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A committal service for Kathryn will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach, San Antonio, TX 78209.
