Kathy Gallegos-Robertson was born October 9, 1963 in Pleasanton, Texas to Johnny B. Gallegos and Inez Vega Gallegos. She was the oldest daughter and her early years with her family were in Charlotte, Texas and Corpus Christi, Texas. When she was 5 years old, she lived in Quito, Ecuador with her family while her father worked there. When she was 13 years old, she and her family moved to Tripoli, Libya, again for her father’s job. She attended school there and also at Marymount High School in Rome, Italy. Kathy graduated from Holmes High School in San Antonio, Texas in 1982.
After high school, Kathy graduated from Durham Business College and studied history at the University of Texas-San Antonio. She spent 23 years working as a Legal Assistant and Legal Secretary, most recently at Espey & Associates from 2011 to the present.
Kathy is survived by her beautiful daughter, Angelina; her mother, Inez V. Gallegos; her sister Barbara Gallegos DeLeon; nephews Phillip DeLeon and Matthew DeLeon; and her sister Eva Ozuna and brother-in-law Roy Ozuna, Jr. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Johnny B. Gallegos; her grandparents Miguel and Cresencia Vega and Desiderio and Petra Gallegos. She will forever be in our hearts.
