Katherine Sue Martinez was a caring mother, sister, aunt, and friend. On Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at age 52, in San Antonio, TX she left our world. She was surrounded with the love of her son, daughter-in-law, and Family.
Katherine was born in San Antonio on a Spring Monday, April 24,1972, and was the first daughter to Vicky Aguallo and David Martinez.
Katherine was a beloved mother to Cory, who is her greatest accomplishment, she loved him dearly and always made it known. She was known for her infectious laugh, kind and gentle disposition, and love and devotion to her family. She was always a phone call away and there in times of need. Her presence was a constant reminder of love knowing no bounds. She was a woman of Faith and loved to attend church when she could with her daughter-in-law.
Katherine was protective of her family and loved fiercely and deeply with her whole heart. The presence of her nieces and nephews was a constant in her life. They were drawn to her warmth and affection. Katherine loved to be near family, was always up to see a movie or make a trip to go shopping.
Katherine is preceded in death by her grandparents Jose/Feliz Villanueva (maternal), and Luis/Herlinda Martinez (paternal). Her parents Vicky Sue/Jeronimo Aguallo, and David/Connie Martinez.
She is survived by her Son Cory J. Martinez, daughter-in-law Joann, and her grand dog Rosie. Katherine is the cherished sister to Mark (Alizabeth) Martinez, Elizabeth (Marco) Peña, Stefany (Carlos) Hernandez, Brandon (Jennifer) Aguallo, and Angela Martinez. Katherine was also a treasured aunt to 8 nephews, 3 nieces, 1 great nephew, and 2 great nieces all of whom she dearly loved.
