Julian Epifanio Gonzales III, beloved son, father, brother, uncle; and fiancé; entered eternal rest on September 7, 2015 at the age of 42. A native of San Antonio, TX, he was born to Julian Epifanio Jr and Maria Georgina Gonzales on December 28, 1972. He now reunites with his grandparents: Jose L. Martinez, Jesusa Cruz Martinez, Julian Zavala Gonzales Sr., and Eliseo R. Garza; uncles, Roberto Martinez, Ignacio Martinez; cousins, Angela Martinez and Jacqueline Monita; and is survived by his parents; children: Julian Epifanio Gonzales IV, Olivia Angel Gonzales, Amelia Grace Gonzales; sister; Jennifer E. Gonzales, nephew; Isaac L.Gonzales; his fiancé Tammie Mortellra and her kids Katrina Dereadt and Patrick Dereadt; ex-wife, Rebecca Gonzales; best friend, Brandt Moore; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Julian honorably served his country in the U.S Army and attained rank of Captain in the Field Artillery. He was a member of Texas Boy State and held the position of Attorney and Counselor at Law. A 1994 Texas A&M graduate, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Master’s degree in Education from Texas A&M University in San Antonio, TX. He was a member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band, bugle rank, and enjoyed watching Aggie football along with the San Antonio Spurs. He was computer and technology savvy and enjoyed intellectual games with his kids or anyone around him, embarking on road trips, outdoor activities, or watching his favorite TV shows such as; Family Guy and The Simpsons.. He loved his pets: Miles, Andy, Tilley and Bubs; along with the company of others to have BBQ’s with an abundance of food to make sure all his guests were satisfied. Most importantly Julian loved his kids and family time, which included staying up late watching movies and making riddles and parodies with them. A beloved son, father, brother, uncle and fiancé gone too soon and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. The family will be receiving guests at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. to celebrate a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at Sacred Heart Catholic Church , 2114 W.
