Julia Villegas Phelps

Julia Villegas Phelps, age 48, passed away May 24, 2015. She was born on April 17, 1967 in San Antonio, Texas to Gustavo Hernandez and Esther Gonzales. She is survived by her husband Robert Phelps; mother, Esther Gonzales Santos; children, Cesar Rogelio Torres Jr., Michael Anthony Torres, Justin James Torres, Robert Johnson Phelps, Juliana Diamond Phelps; granddaughters, Gabriella Ava Torres, Sienna Aria Torres; sisters, Esther Villegas, Rosalinda Bixby, Christine Speck, Suzie Ann Villegas and numerous nieces and nephews. Julia authored her first book five years ago and had an agent promoting the screenplay. Her husband, children and grandchildren were the biggest joy of her life. Julia and Rob had just celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary and were looking forward to many more years together, before she was taken all too soon. Julia was also blessed with family and innumerable friends in the local area and worldwide. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M.
