She was the oldest of six sisters. Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. Joyce was the glue who held everything together through many relocations, from Trenton, to New York City, Cincinnati, Detroit, finally settling in San Antonio. Raising three boys, Joyce loved her family immensely and strived to always be there for them. An avid bridge player, who also spent significant time as a volunteer at local hospitals. She was a fantastic cook, whose lasagna was second to none. She will be deeply missed by all who knew, and loved her.
She is preceded in passing by her parents, Catherine and William and sister, Lorraine.
Survived by her husband, Edward Clark, three sons: Thomas, Stuart (Rene), David (Carmen); her six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. As well as four sisters: Nancy, Patricia, MaryAnn, and Michelle.
A memorial service will be held on October 2, 2021, at 11am held at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio Texas, 78218.
