Juanita Martinez

Juanita Reyna Martinez passed away on July 29, 2021 at the age of 84 in San Antonio, Texas. Born on June 12, 1937, she is preceded in death by her parents, Arturo Reyna and Micaela Valtierra Alcozer; her brother, Gilbert V. Alcozer; and her son-in-law, Pete Castillo.

Juanita is survived by her children, Elma Zuniga (Manuel), Imelda Castillo, and Cynthia Martinez; her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother, Rudy Alcozer; and her extended family and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.

Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the Visitation at Trevino Funeral Home – 226 Cupples Road 78237 – will be limited to 100 people in the building at a time.

The family will be receiving friends for the Visitation on Wednesday, August 11 at 9:00 AM, with a Rosary to be Recited at 12:00 PM. A Funeral Procession will depart at 12:30 PM and arrive at St. Jude Catholic Church – 130 South San Augustine Avenue 78237 – for the Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II – 746 Castroville Road 78237.
