Juanita T. Hernandez entered eternal life on June 30, 2016 at the age of 86. She was born in San Juan, TX on June 24, 1930, to Francisco and Emilia Tijerina; and is preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry Hernandez, son Ruben Hernandez, and siblings: Josefina Alvarado, Alicia Cortez, Mercelino “Chelo” Martinez, and Antonio De Jesus Tijerina. She is survived by her daughters Yolanda (Antonio) Contreras and Linda (Sebriano) Martinez, cousin, “El Primo” Roberto Garcia, numerous grandchildren great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and pet “PeeWee.” The family will receive guests at Roy Akers funeral home on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. with a 7:00p.m Rosary.
