Juan I. Rodriguez, age 85, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on June 11, 1926 in Manati, Puerto Rico to Cipriano & Oliva Rodriguez. Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Carmen Sanchez; children, Carmen Z. Rodriguez & husband, Carlos Vasquez, Juan I. Rodriguez & wife, Nilda and Ivette Rodriguez; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and brothers, William & Joe Rodriguez. Visitation will take place from 5-9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow with military honors at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
