Juan C. Lopez

Mr. Lopez served during the Vietnam War. As a result he would receive a Vietnam Service Medal and a National Defense Medal. Juan would end up retiring from Kelly AFB after 21 years of Service. Juan used to be a baseball player; he played with the Spanish American Baseball League. He also used to be a member of the San Antonio Recreation Park Fastpitch League where he was better known as "Lefty."

He was preceded by his parents, Graciano Lopez and Jesusa Castillo; son Daniel Lopez; sisters Ramona Macias, Guadalupe Fowler, Cidelia Almanza, Mary Ann Deleon; brothers Graciano Lopez and Joe Lopez.

Survivors include his children Sylvia Marie Hornsby, John Albert Lopez; Wife, Yolanda Lopez; and his sister Leonor Placker.

Juan will be missed by those who knew him.
