Juan Lara

Our beloved father and grandfather, with a heart of gold, Juan Lara was born in Laredo, Texas on February 4, 1929. He went to be with the Lord on August 03, 2014. He is preceded in death by his wife Consuelo Lara, brother Cristobal Lara & son Alejandro Rodriguez. He is survived by his children, Silvia (Tony) Pisano, John (Virginia) Lara, Robert (Deanna) Lara, Irma Lara Ruiz, Sally (Pete) Bernal, David Lara, and Lupe Hagelgan; sister-in-law Gloria Lewandowski. His great granddaughter Sophia Alaniz who brought him so much joy; 22 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Pallbearers are his grandchildren, Dr. Michael Hernandez, John Lara, Narciso Alaniz, Jesse Ruiz, Robert Lara and Jacob Lara. Many thanks to Nurses in Touch who cared for him in his final months. A Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday August 8, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday August 9, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Lydia Luna officiating, Interment will follow in San Jose Burial Park. Services under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Palo Alto.
