Juan was a man that loved and served his country with over 30 years of Federal Civil Service with the Department of Defense. He began his career at Kelly Air Force Base and retired at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, GA. Juan was a kind-hearted man who cherished quality time with family especially with his beloved grandchildren more than anything else. He found great joy and peace in the great outdoors, particularly in his favorite pastimes of fishing and hunting. Whether he was casting a line or being an avid hunter, Juan loved to be surrounded by the beauty of nature.
Juan will be united in heaven with his father; Francisco Q. Garcia Jr., mother; Consuelo Garcia, and sister; Maria Luisa Garcia-Francis.
Juan’s memory will forever live in the hearts of his sons; John Paul, Moses, daughters-in-laws; Stephanie, Angelica, grandchildren; Gabriella, John Paul Jr., Annalisa, Emanuel, Alexandra, Kayla, Tobias, great-grandchild Emilia, sisters: Josie Leza and Mary Martinez, along with numerous nephews, nieces, grand nephews and nieces. He will also be missed by his extended family in Georgia, he takes with him all the fond memories of hunting and fishing that he had the pleasure of sharing with each and everyone of you.
A Visitation will be held Sunday, March 10, 2024 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. On Monday, March 11, 2024 our doors will open at 8:30 a.m., we will then go in procession for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 2004 Chihuahua St, San Antonio, TX 78207, followed by burial at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237.
