Juan Manuel Franco entered into the loving of our Lord on March 10, 2024 at the age of 73. He was born on May 6, 1950 in Mexico to Maria Luisa and Gregorio Franco. He was the eldest of eleven children.
Juan led a vibrant life filled with diverse interests and passions. He embraced every moment, often found singing and dancing with infectious enthusiasm. While he dabbled in various sports, his heart belonged to soccer, never missing a match, especially when his beloved Chivas played. He also never missed a Dallas Cowboys game. Traveling was another joy for Juan, occasionally indulging in the excitement of casinos when he could.
In 1969, Juan's life took a profound turn when he crossed paths with Maria Esperanza Garza. Their encounter blossomed into a deep and enduring love story. United in marriage on January 31, 1970, they embarked on a journey of raising two remarkable children together.
Juan's essence emanated warmth and compassion, touching the lives of all who knew him. He had an innate nurturing nature that showed boundless love and care of everyone. His capacity to forge meaningful connections left a lasting impression, as each individual felt uniquely valued and cherished, as if they were his favorite.
Juan will be reunited in heaven with his parents, Maria Luisa and Gregorio Franco; sister, Rosalinda Garcia; and brother, Juan Jose Franco.
His memory will forever live in his wife of 54 years, Maria Esperanza Franco; children, Diana Rosa Lopez, and Juan Manuel Franco Jr. Grandchildren, Gabriella Martinez (Steven), Isabel Cannon (Deante), Clarissa Gonzalez, and Julian Lopez; siblings, Ludivina Ortiz, Gregorio Franco, Maria Luisa Hernandez, Veronica Aguilar, Fernando Franco, Maria Espinosa, Angela Aguilar, and Jorge Franco; and numerous extended family and friends.
