Josie H. Valdez

Josefina Herrera Valdez was born on December 13, 1944 to Asencion & Petra Herrera. She was welcomed into the Lord’s hands and glorious kingdom on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the age of 68. She is preceded in death by her parents Asencion & Petra Herrera; siblings Margarita, Miguel, Rose and Eva. She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Guadalupe R. Valdez, her children Elizabeth Valdez Padron (Jose), Guadalupe Ramiro Valdez Jr., Angelica Maria Rodriguez (Anselmo) and Diane E. Vidales (David); grandchildren Luis, Crystal, Isaiah Padron, Adam, David, Alexandra Rodriguez, Joselyn and David Vidales III; Siblings Asencion Herrera Jr., Adela Alaquinez, Joe Herrera, Guadalupe Herrera, Beatrice Herrera, Diana Figueroa and Angie Herrera; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. A visitation will begin Tuesday, June 4, 2013 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. An evening service will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home, Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 10:15 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. church service to be held at Templo Victorioso Emmanuel, 241 Coopwood, San Antonio, TX 78237, with interment to follow in First Memorial Burial Park.
