Josie Resendiz-Villarreal

She joins her husband of 31 years in heaven, Gustavo Villarreal; her parents, Antonio and Virginia Resendiz; her son Luie Santellan; Brothers Rudy Resendiz and Paul Resendiz.

She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Lorise Santellan and Loreen Garza and her husband Rocky; grandchildren, Joaquin Garcia IV (Hannah), Clarissa Reynosa (Stephen), Alyssa Garcia (Rico), Cecilee O'Connor, Jenna Garcia and Cerena O'connor; great grandchildren, Ava Agueros, Riana Rodriguez, Daniel Reynosa, Joaquin Garcia V, Leah Garcia and Robin Garcia. Her sister Rosa Sanchez (Teofilo) and brother Saul Resendiz.

Josie was always happy, she loved her family dearly and enjoyed their family gatherings, sharing jokes and shopping trips. She enjoyed many arts and crafts and made her children and grandchildren jewelry as gifts. She loved her plants, tropical fish and the color green. Josie will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

A visitation for Josie will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211 with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Resurrection will be Celebrated on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM at San Juan de los Lagos Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Jose Burial Park.
