Josephine Vega Gonzalez

Heaven has opened its gates to receive an angel, Josephine Vega Gonzalez who was born on March 18, 1944 in San Antonio,TX and went to be with the Lord on January 5, 2012 at the age of 67. She is preceded in death by her parents, Domingo and Florencia Cantu; former husband, Juan Galvez; daughter, Maria Josephine Galvez; sons, Juan Galvez, Jr. and Emilio Galvez; great grandson, Hector A. Arellano, Jr.; brother, Carlos Cantu and sister, Anita Garcia. She is survived by her husband, Raul Gonzalez; daughters and son; Juanita G. Arellano (Pedro); Judy Pardo, Teresa Parra, and Mario Galvez; 19 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm. Monday, January 9, 2012 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in the funeral home chapel. A procession will depart from the funeral home on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. for 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at The San Fernando Cathedral. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2. The family would like to thank extended family and friends for their prayers and support.
