Josephine Gonzales

On Sat April 1, 2023, Josephine Gonzales, at the age of 82 years, entered eternal life to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ. She was born on August 20, 1940 in San Antonio, Texas. She was employed at Luby’s cafeteria in her 20’s and remained a hostess and cashier until she retired in 2002.

Josephine never married or had children of her own but she would always treat her nieces and nephews like her own and always available to them. She always treasured the time she would spend with family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Maria & Bernardo Gonzales. Sisters Mary Helen Vega, Trinidad Gonzales, Frances Alvarado, Brothers Bernardo Gonzales, Rudy Gonzales, Richard Gonzales, Juan Gonzales. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Josephine is survived by her Brother Robert Gonzales and Sister Dolores Gonzales. She will be dearly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

The Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226

Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery III.

There will be no procession from the funeral home on Wednesday. Everyone will meet at the cemetery.
