Jose Ybarra

Jose A. Ybarra born on August 4, 1953 was called home to be with the Lord on January 7, 2022 at the age of 68. He is now reunited with his son Jeffery A. Ybarra; parents Juan and Augustina Ybarra; sisters Jaine Carrejo, Esperanza Garibay, and Hortencia Cepeda; and brother-in-law Raymond Cisneros.

Jose had a passion for playing pool, the Cowboys, the Spurs, having a good time and dancing.

Jose is loved and will be greatly missed by his children Jose Ybarra Jr. (Debra) and Jeanette Ybarra (Armando); grandchildren Christopher, John, Jeremy Ybarra, Alyssa, Emily Chavez, Natalee, and Jaylee Ybarra; great-grandchildren Sophia, Chris, Zhavia, Emerald, Jeralyn, Shae Ybarra, and Olivia Chavez; siblings Victor Ybarra, Teresa Cisneros, Elida Hernandez (Pete), and Delia Mojica (Antonio).

He will live forever in the hearts of his family and friends and never be forgotten.

A visitation for Jose will be held Monday, January 17, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. A rosary will occur Monday, January 17, 2022 at 7:00 PM, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 1:30 PM at San Juan De Los Lagos, 3231 El Paso Street, San Antonio, Texas 78207. An interment will occur Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78226.
