Jose R. Padron

Jose R. Padron, beloved husband, father and grandfather, entered into rest on June 17, 2011, at the age of 91. He was born in Nueve Leon, Mexico on July 6, 1919 to parents Jose Reyna Padron and Guadalupe Reyna Padron. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Jose was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Anita Rojas and Thomas Sanez, his wife of 67 years Delfina C. Padron, and two sons Raymond C. Padron and Ernest Garza. He is survived by his sons, Jose A. Padron, Jr. and wife Anna, Antonio C. Padron, Edward M. Padron and wife Terry, Oscar Padron and wife Gloria, Daniel C. Padron and wife Rose and Joe V. Garza; daughters, Maria "Rosie" Mejia and husband Raymond, Belinda Guerrero and husband Manuel, and San Juanita Padron; daughter-in-laws Cassandra Padron and Sylvia Garza; brothers, Alfonso Padron and Jesus Padron; sister, Maria DeLuz; 37 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, Sunday, June 26, 2011, with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held Moday, June 27, 2011 at 10:00am. All services will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers in the Chapel of Prayers. A Committal Service will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
