Jose Melchor Montoya, born on March 29, 1930 in Alpine, Texas, went to be with the Lord on February 14, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents Vicente and Consuelo Montoya. He is survived by his beloved wife, Margarita Montoya; his children Johnny Montoya (Alejandra), Debby Montoya, Sylvia Bradbury (John); grandson J.D. Ramos; 3 granddaughters Rhianon, Marhiah and Cireena; numerous nieces and nephews; 1 sister and 3 brothers. Jose enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing. He will truly be missed. A Visitation will be on Thursday February 16, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home on 2525 Palo Alto Rd. at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A Funeral procession will depart on Friday February 17, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on 535 New Laredo Hwy. An Interment will follow at San Fernando II Cemetery.
