Jose Maria Hernandez

Jose Maria Hernandez born on September 25, 1936 went to be with our Lord on January 17, 2020 at the age of 83. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Rufino and Benita Hernandez. Son, Mario Cesar Hernandez and grandson, Joshua R. Contreras. Siblings; Jose Temo, Felipe, Diego, Macedonio, and Rojelia. Jose is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Maria Teresa Hernandez. Children; Benita H. Garcia, David Hernandez, Herberto Hernandez, Rene Hernandez, Norma Hernandez, and Vanessa Hernandez. Nieces; Valentina Venegas and Laura Vargas. Siblings; Armendina Llomas, Heriberto Hernandez, and Francisca Correa. Also by his 13 adoring grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Followed by numerous nieces, and nephews. The visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78237 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Friday, January 24, 2020 the mass of the resurrection will take place at San Juan De Los Lagos Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
