Jose Guadalupe Hernandez, born on May 18, 1924 in Guanajuato, Mexico, was called to be with the Lord on April 30, 2015 at the age of 90. He is preceded in rest by his son, Guadalupe Hernandez Jr. He is survived by his wife, Petra Hernandez; children, David Casias (Connie Garza), Adam Hernandez (MelindaAguilar), Rudy Hernandez (Yvonne) and Peter Hernandez (Christina); daughters, Venilda Hernandez (Ernest) and Monica Casias (Roger); also, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Somerset, TX. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Somerset, TX.
