Jose Luis Garcia went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2020, at the age of 69. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alberto and Felicitas Garcia. Jose is survived by his loving wife, Emma Perez; sisters and brother-in-law, Corina Herrera, Delia Cortez and Margaret and Benito Ramos; sister, Tomasita Perez; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended relatives and friends. Jose had a deep love for barbecue and baking cakes. He also loved his sports, particularly when the Dallas Cowboys or the Texas Longhorns were on the TV.
Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m on Monday, August 10, 2020 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 for a 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph South San. Interment will follow in First Memorial Burial Park. Due to Covid, the occupancy of the chapel will be restricted to 50 people and a mask will be required at all times within the building.
