Jose Castellon Flores

Jose Flores, age 73, passed away in Del City, Oklahoma on 02/17/2021 due to complications from Covid-19. Jose Flores is survived by his three daughters, Mary Margaret De La Cruz, Maria Elena Barron and Maria Catalina Flores, and sisters Graciela Flores, Norma Flores and Esther Sanchez.He also had 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jose is a veteran of the Vietnam War. For his service, he earned a Bronze Star, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Army Commendation Medal. He served honorably in the Armed Services Division, achieving the rank of Sergeant.

Jose was very proud to have served his country,however; he was most proud of being a great father. He created many memories for his children and grandchildren and for many nieces and nephews, sons in law and sisters in law. Most people that knew him will say how he helped them and he would always have a fun adventurous story to tell. He loved life and his family. Jose was a very generous and caring individual. Jose was preceded in death by Esther Hernandez, Catalina C Rios, Dolores M Sandoval, Jose Francisco Perez, Mike J Alvarado, Leonides Flores and Bartolo Flores.

Roy Akers will host his services on March 23, 2021 .

Rosary 7:00 pm.

He will lay to rest at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery on March 24,2021 at 10:45 am.
