Jose Angel Cantu Jr.

July 30, 1947 – July 23, 2020

Vietnam vetran - Jose A Cantu Jr, at the age of 72, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 23, 2020. His heart was his wife of 47 years of marriage and his grandchildren that he was very involved with. He was a man of honor and pride. Always happy and smiling. His moto in life was always, "When there's a will; there's a way!"

Jose was preceded in death by his parent's, Jose & Florinda Cantu Sr., sister's Thelma Munoz & Erika Davila. He is survived by his wife Adela Z. Cantu; children Teresa Ell, Jose Cantu III (Teresa), Christina Nava (Israel), Marcus Cantu, and Jessica Cantu; grandchildren Olivia, Matthew, and Elisabeth Ell; Mia, Macarius, Xander, and Aurora Cantu; sister's Angie Cortez (Oscar) and Diana Jimenez (Tony); Brother in-law David Zuniga, Sister in-laws Josie Zuniga (Eddie Valdez) & Rosa Ramirez (Richard), many niece's & nephews. Many friends & acquaintances throughout life. Visitation will held 10:00 am Monday, August 17, 2020 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a 12:00 pm Memorial Service. Committal Service at 1:45 pm Monday, August 17, 2020 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
