Joe was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Maria V. Abrego.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Abrego, Mary Helen and Robert Jr. Gaitan, Nancy and Jimmy Jr. Lew; sisters, Juanita Mendez, Marcelina Moreno, Esperanza Ramon, Violanda Ramon and Isabel Alva; brothers, Paz Jr., Rafael, Paul, Arturo and Albert; aunt, Frances Mendez; grandchildren Robert and Holli Rendon, Joseph Rendon, Jacob Martinez, Angelica Gaitan, Mathew Lew and Analisa Castro, Jeremy Lew; great granddaughters, Chloe Rendon and Adalyn Lew.
Visitation will begin 6:00 pm Monday, November 16, 2020 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. Due to Covid-19 restrictions there is a maximum capacity of 50 people. Family will have a private Mass and burial due to Covid-19 restrictions.
