I had just given birth to my first child and Tio’s first grandniece and was alone in a hospital room in L&D.  Tío walked in on his lunch break with roses for me and a doll for Victoria.  She was in the nursery at that time.  Tío came back that evening to meet her and hold her and celebrate with all of us.  He and the other grandparents were so happy and those are some of my happiest memories from that day.

Coincidir contigo en ese breve momento fue un deleite tus consejos, tus cuidados que tuviste , tu  deliciosa comida hecha con amor, sobre todo muchos consejos. Esos consejos que a nuestra corta edad a veces no entendíamos y hoy nos resuenan más, gracias. Nos dejaste huella en cómo ser, y hacer mejor las cosas.
Sabiduría pura para nuestros cortos años, pero siempre la mejor sabiduría de vida. 
Buenos recuerdos Uncle George. 
Te llevamos en el corazón. Gracias por el breve espacio, el tiempo que nos regalaste y compartiste tu corazón con nosotras.  Descansa en paz.  

Tío Jorge loved music, dancing, and cooking.  But most of all he loved people- spending time with friends and family.  He was the most thoughtful person who always made the people around him feel special.  He loved giving people gifts that he thought they would enjoy and you knew he had been thinking about you when he saw the special item that caught his eye.  He was a legendary cook.  He loved having people over and would cook the most delicious dishes without ever using a recipe.  I miss him so much and will always remember him with so much love.

Jorge, the news of your passing saddened many at KTC. You were always so bright and full of joy and positive energy.  We all miss your visits, especially your smile. May you rest in peace.
