Jorge was born February 24, 1962, in Piedras Negras, Mexico, to the late Francisco and Alicia Salazar De Gallegos. He was the youngest of three children. Jorge was a gambling man known for his love of playing bingo and trying his luck on the Texas lotto. Jorge worked as a painter for 23 years at Zachary.
He is preceded in death by his Grandmother Juanita Mendez Salazar, Father Francisco V. Gallegos, Mother Alicia Gallegos, and Brother Francisco (Pancho) Javier Gallegos.
Jorge is survived by his Sister Maria Gallegos Cuvarrubias, Sons Jorge Eduardo Gallegos Jr, Emmanuel C. Gallegos, his Daughters Angel C. Gallegos, Maria Alicia Gallegos, and Sophia Gallegos, 7 Grandchildren as well as several Nieces and Nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday March 15, 2023 from 5:00pm-9:00pm at Trevino Funeral Home 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio. A funeral service will occur Thursday March 16,2023 at 10:00am, followed by a committal service at 11:30am at First Memorial Park Cemetery, 20567 TX-16, Von Ormy, TX 78073.
